Shim-pack Arata C18 columns are designed to produce exceptional resolution and highly symmetrical peak shapes for basic compounds.  Typical C18 columns often require additives like TFA to control peak tailing, but long equilibration times and ion-pairing effects detrimental to LCMS analysis may result.  Arata ensures excellent performance with low ionic strength mobile phases suitable for LCMS, like 0.1% formic acid, for reliable qualitative and quantitative analysis.  The 2.2μm and 5μm particle sizes and a wide range of dimensions have you covered from UHPLC to HPLC with UV, PDA, and MS detectors.  For extra confidence in peptide separations, Arata Peptide columns undergo lot check testing with a peptide standard mix in addition to the standard QC test mix.  For method development convenience, the Arata Validation Kit has 3 columns packed with 3 different lots of material to set up a robust method and MRM windows.
