The Shim-pack Velox PFPP (Pentafluorophenyl propyl or F5) provides an alternative selectivity to C18 columns and can run in both reversed phase and HILIC mode. It is especially suitable for the LC-MS/MS analysis of charged bases using acidic mobile phases, as well as taxanes, metanephrines, and Vitamin D. The Velox superficially porous particle (SPP) provides UHPLC-like high speed, high resolution separations to reduce run time and increase sample throughput when run on a standard HPLC system. pH range 2-8, maximum temperature 80C, maximum pressure 700 bar/70 MPa/10,000 psi.
