The Shim-pack Velox Biphenyl offers complementary selectivity to alkyl phases (e.g. C8 or C18,) resulting in enhanced retention and resolution of aromatic compounds, especially with methanolic mobile phases. It is very ideal for high-throughput LC-MS/MS bioanalytical applications such as drug and metabolite analysis. Recommended for large drug panels including barbiturates, benzodiazepines, opioids, stimulants, and more. The Velox superficially porous particle (SPP) provides UHPLC-like high speed, high resolution separations to reduce run time and increase sample throughput when run on a standard HPLC system. pH range 2-8, maximum temperature 80C, maximum pressure 600 bar/60 MPa/8,700 psi.
